Hello & Welcome!

My name is Lorenza, born and bred in Italy until the age of 16, then moved and rooted here in the North West of England where I still live now, with my family and our aloof but ever so gentle whippet girl!
I am an architect and community energy practitioner, I work with people, in their communities, everyday and we explore together how to support each others towards and through a just energy transition, a transition that offers space for regenerative communities to thrive and reject the extractive nature of the last 100+ years. I am a permaculture designer too, learning and using the principles, the ethics, the frameworks and the tools to give me purpose to create ways to live harmoniously in our natural ecosystem, of which we are very much part of.
My Italian identity is a strongly present as my British one, therefore I bring my blended and eclectic approach to all that I do and that I am, you will likely see it here in this space and I hope you will find something of interest for you too. There may be times where I write in Italian or share my reflections in dual language.
I love ideating and creating collaborations. I bring joy and creativity when working with others on values and hopes held in common.
I am able to see and explore different solutions together and to create alignment in shared visions – the skills and experience I hold across design, community organising, permaculture and facilitation create many opportunities to work together.
I look forward to connecting with you, should you be passing through this website. Connecting through my words and reflections that emerge from my work, my Permaculture journey and life’s general musings.
On socials, find me on Instagram (my handle is @urbandwellermama) and if you search for me on LinkedIn I am there too.
